  Water
    It may be everywhere.
But what if you can't trust it?

Water is everywhere.

It sustains us, surrounds us and passes almost unnoticed through every part of modern life. Until something makes us question it.

What happens when the one thing nobody can live without becomes the one thing nobody can trust?

Water Water Everywhere... is a contemporary thriller spanning countries, institutions and lives, as an apparently disconnected series of events begins to reveal something far more disturbing.

Frank Bird

Frank Bird, author of Water Water Everywhere

Born in the UK in the post-war years, Frank spent his home life in Britain, while also travelling extensively throughout Europe and parts of the USA. His career has included roles in construction, the casino and slot machine industry, engineering, management, directorship, R&D, consultancy and project management.

Frank came to writing as a relaxing escape from a working life that repeatedly placed him close to developing technologies, engineering and industry — and alongside many of the people responsible for making complicated things actually work.

Over the years, extraordinary developments in many fields have seamlessly become part of everyday life. One of the challenges in writing the novel was recognising what technology was actually available at the time and shaping the story around it. Frank frequently referred back to his own experiences and diaries to make sure everything fitted the period. He was instrumental in some associated technological developments, but none of those has been documented here. (Looks over his shoulder.)

Those experiences, together with a longstanding fascination with how disparate events can become connected, helped provide the foundations for Water Water Everywhere...

This is Frank’s debut novel.
